Popularizing Nanoscience: Study Overview



The study was designed to examine the emergence and representation of nanoscale science and technology in written public media. Nanoscience is an emergent science that examines the principles and applications of matter at the molecular level.

The goal of this study is to characterize the rhetorical process through which nanoscale science emerged and to describe the characteristics (representations) of the science as it appeared in public discourse.
